Plant out summer bedding at the end of the month

Collect rainwater

Regularly hoe off weeds

Open greenhouse vents and doors on warm days

Mow lawns regularly

Trim hedges

Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of daffodils and other spring- flowering bulbs

Mulch flower beds, shrubs, and trees with a fresh cover

Check all garden structures and buildings and make any necessary repairs
