Our gardening tips for you in May:
- If you haven’t already remove all garden furniture from winter storage and clean & apply stain/preserver etc.. – contact GP Garden Services for advice or assistance
- Plant out summer bedding at the end of the month
- Collect rainwater
- Regularly hoe off weeds
- Open greenhouse vents and doors on warm days
- Mow lawns regularly
- Trim hedges
- Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of daffodils and other spring-flowering bulbs
- Raise a glass to Jeremy on the 29th – it’s his birthday!
- Mulch flower beds, shrubs, and trees with a fresh cover.
- Check all garden structures and buildings and make any necessary repairs – call GP Garden Services if necessary
